Born in 1970 in Upper Lusatia and grew up in East Berlin.

From 1991 to 2001 various jobs in the construction industry.

1997 First book publication.

From 1998 – 2001 the publisher of the Minotaur magazine (together with Björn Kuhligk)

Since 2002 freelance author and lecturer in Creative Writing etc. at the University of Augsburg.

From 2008 to 2011 co-editor of the literary magazine “No Louder”.

Since 2011 Head of the writing workshop “Open Poems” at the Literaturwerkstatt Berlin

Editor of the anthology “Everything Except Pet Food – New Political Poetry” – Rotbuch Publishing House , Berlin, 2009.

Co-editor of the anthologies “The Berlin, Hamburg and Munich Bars Books “- all: Berlin Taschenbuchverlag, 2006, 2008 and 2009.

Co-editor of “Local Pubs Guide”, DuMont Verlag, in 2011.

Journalistic works:

Some texts have been translated into Arabic, English, French, Dutch, Polish, Spanish, and Ukrainian for magazines and anthologies.
