Berlin based DJ SOULSURFER is part of the german Jungle and Drum´n´Bass scene from day one. Apart from playing hundreds of gigs up and down the country and abroad, he also played a crucial role in shaping the german Drum´n´Bass nightlife – may it be as a promoter of PHAZE CLUB (which was voted Germany´s No 1 Drum´n´Bass Club 5 years in a row), MADE IN GERMANY, LIFE:SUPPORT and various other projects, as a consultant for the SUNANDBASS Festival (Europe´s No 1. Drum´n´Bass Festival according to the 2011 Poll of UK´s renowned Knowledge Magazine), as a journalist for various music magazines or as a record dealer in some of the most prolific record shops in Germany. As the SUNANDBASS Festival starts on the very same weekend as MERIDIAN´S ELECTRO POETRY takes place, he has to leave Chernivtsy early – and will play one of his rare but highly sought-after House Sets on Friday.
