Anastasia Afanasieva (b. 1982) lives in Kharkov, where she works as a physician at a psychiatric ward.
She has published in the journals: «The air», «New world», «Vavilon», «Ural», «Sho», «Textonly», «Rec» ext.
She was shortlisted for the Debut Prize in Poetry (2003), and the Debut Prize in Criticism (2004). She has one book of poems: «Poor white peоple» (Moscow: ARGO-RISK, 2005) and several prose books.
